mom and dad have come and gone. i loved seeing them experience this place - i loved seeing them on vacation.
mom digged the kalik (her and emily can hang out) and dad's poison was the bahama mama.
my kids absolutely loved mom - she was in her element
the girls absolutely loved dad
we went to hope town as soon as we could get out of school
and got to catch a saturday sunrise
dad was our captain for the weekend - he drove us over to the lighthouse
where mom and him flirted a bit
mom jumped right into the bahamain life style and went hulling with the boys
dad stuck with the star fish
we caught a blowfish in the net - it was the first time i have ever seen one out here. oh and yes that is a normal thing for laura to wear on her head.
have i ever mentioned my attraction to weatherworn old sailor men - here is a bit of my appreciation...hmmmm
we took them conching
and mom and dad eat the pissle of the conch. when i first got here i asked what it was and was told "exactly what is sounds like."
they had sunset on the boat
spent a little more time with some of my kids - that is landon. he comes to class wearing cologne that would make any girl weak in the knees.
by the end they were amazing at "couple shots by a beach"
and they left the bahamas with hope of buying a boat so that they could come when ever they wanted.
laura and i now specialize in romantic getaways....
